Travel Directions to Eagles Den Suite

By automobile: Click for Mapquest Directions

From Vancouver:

  • Take the Ferry to Langdale (40 min. trip). For schedule and fare visit bcferries.com Return trip is included in fare.
  • Follow Highway 101 West to Sechelt (27 km – 17 miles).
  • At the entrance of Sechelt, turn right at the traffic lights onto Wharf Road (from this point it takes about 9 minutes to get to Eagles Den).
  • Turn right at the 4 way stop sign on East Porpoise Bay Road (further on this becomes Inlet Road).
  • Pass Porpoise Bay park on your left.
  • Turn left onto Sandy Hook Road.
  • Turn first left again onto Deerhorn.
  • Turn first left again onto Skookumchuk Road, then proceed to Eagles Den #5873 – the big Lindal cedar A-frame on the left. Park beside the road.

From Powell River:

  • Take the ferry to Egmont.
  • Follow Highway 101 south-easterly to Sechelt.
  • Pass Sechelt Centre, at the traffic lights leaving Sechelt (where the Highway turns 90 degrees), keep going straight onto Wharf Road  (from this point it takes about 9 minutes to get to Eagles Den).
  • Turn right at the 4 way stop sign on East Porpoise Bay Rd., this will further on become Inlet Rd.
  • Pass Porpoise Bay park on your left.
  • Turn left onto Sandy Hook Rd.
  • Turn first left again onto Deerhorn.
  • Turn first left again onto Skookumchuk Rd, then proceed to Eagles Den: # 5873 Skookumchuk, the big Lindal cedar A-frame on the left. Park beside the road.

By boat, from the Sechelt Inlet:

  • Anchor in the muddy area (good holding ground) , close (but deep enough for your boat) to the beach in Sandy Hook where there is a concrete boat ramp.
  • Take the dinghy ashore.
  • Walk up Sandy Hook Road, turn right on Seaview.
  • Turn left on Deerhorn.
  • At the playground, keep right on Skookumchuk Road, then proceed to Eagles Den:
    # 5873 Skookumchuk, the big Lindal cedar A-frame on the right.
