And in case you're wondering who we are, here's a bit of background. In 2000 we took the big step, moving with our family from Belgium to this pristine part of the world, and have not regretted it for a moment. The natural beauty, the peace and tranquility, the laid back way of living and the clean air attracted us immensely and satisfied us deeply.

Being enthusiastic outdoor people ourselves, we have built up knowledge about the Sunshine Coast which we would enjoy sharing with you.

Whether it is mountain biking, hiking, running, fishing, sailing, swimming, skiing, snowshoeing, scuba diving, golfing, kayaking, paddling, we will always try to help and inform you in whatever way we can.

Since we come from this tiny country in the heart of Europe, we speak several languages: Dutch, French, English, German and some Spanish.

We have two sons, both attending different universities in Vancouver. While they are not around often, they do have even better knowledge of the outdoor possibilities than Koen and I, since they grew up here.

Having had many Belgian and Irish family members and friends over for holidays, we have almost become tour guides…if regular work had not impeded us from that.

Koen and I are European Masters in Architecture, and have been fortunate to work with Mobius Architecture since arriving on the Coast.

I am also a silversmith, and have a home studio as well as my website dinrdesign.com where you can view some of my work.
